The Newspaper Taxis

Philadelphia's Tribute to The Beatles

The Newspaper Taxis are a Beatles Tribute band based out of Philadelphia, PA, providing the area with electrifying live performances spanning the Fab Four's entire cataligue.

Long before the psychedelic sounds of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, or the detailed arrangements of Abbey Road, The Beatles were a young rock-and-roll act wowing crowds night after night.  Before Beatlemania came to America, it was at these small club shows in England and Germany where these Liverpool lads mastered their art in an exciting live setting, making audiences fall in love with their songs instantly.

The Newspaper Taxis channel that same electric, exciting energy while playing a wide selection of songs from across the entire Beatles universe to provide lovers of The Beatles with a magical experience unlike any other.

Unlike most common tribute acts, The Newspaper Taxis share their love for The Beatles without wigs, costume changes, or backing tracks. Instead, they focus on providing fans of all ages an exhilarating live performance that they will never forget.

The Newspaper Taxis bring the joy and excitement of The Beatles to concert halls, bars, weddings, birthdays, festivals, community events, corporate functions, and anywhere in and around the Philadelphia area.

The Newspaper Taxis are:

Donovan Rice

Mike Oxman

Bill Rose

Nero Catalano

Incredibly, this Beatles tribute band successfully honors the beloved band. They play everything in The Beatles’ canon: the early hits, the psychedelic numbers, and the classic rock – and they play them well. They display great chemistry together and hit the notes exactly right. For someone who was born after The Beatles’ last performance, seeing The Newspaper Taxis is a priceless experience.
